We can help you select a white water rafting trip that suits your needs. Our whitewater rafting guides can take you on a thrilling wild river adventure or peaceful scenic float trip.
We run the Middle and North Fork of the Flathead River, two of Montana's wildest rivers. These rivers form the southern and western boundaries of Glacier National Park. They are protected as Wild and Scenic rivers, thus insuring that they will remain free flowing and untamed. These glacial fed waters rank as some of the cleanest rivers in the world.

On our adventure trips we often see Deer, Mountain Goats, Osprey, and Eagles. Occasionally we hear howling wolves. The river rapids on the Middle Fork were featured in the hit movie a River Wild. These rivers offer something for the entire family.

Who are the Glacier Wilderness Guides? We founded Glacier Wilderness Guides in 1983 because no one else was providing the kind of ecologically sensitive backcountry guiding and interpretation that Glacier National Park deserved. In those days there were just three of us, but our hunch that an outfit like ours was needed turned out to be correct. Four years later we expanded to include rafting on the area's two Wild and Scenic rivers. Today, with more than seventy guides and support people on our staff, we provide the area's most comprehensive and professional hiking, backpacking and rafting services.

At Glacier Wilderness Guides, Inc. and Montana Raft Co., we owe our success to our staff. We're not just a company, we're friends.

Montana’s Glacier National Park has become a much desired destination for many tourists. We invite you to consider Glacier Heli Tours, offered by Minuteman Aviation, Inc., as part of your vacation.

The flight is a breathtaking view over a million acre geologic park, of which only a fraction of its awesome terrain and beauty may be seen by road and trail. Our helicopter tours are a special opportunity for elderly and handicapped tourists, who are not physically able to hike the trails. So very little of the Park is actually seen from the road. Children of all ages are welcome to enjoy this experience.

We offer one hour tours and half hour tours. The one hour tour encompasses the entire Park. The tour begins by taking you up the east side of the Continental Divide to the Canadian border to Waterton Park, then down the west side of the Continental Divide back to West Glacier. The half hour tour gives you a very good cross section of Glacier Park enabling you to view the Park’s major glaciers and lakes.
